Who is in charge of the Turnberry pond?
Originally the Turnberry pond was owned and maintained by Turnberry neighborhood. That is no longer the case though, and it is currently managed by the Bourbonnais Township Park District.
If you would like to fish in the Turnberry pond you must have a fishing license. Children under the age of 16 do not need a fishing license, but if an adult plans on helping them with bait, casting their line, etc, it is suggested the adult have their fishing license, otherwise they could potentially be ticketed.
